Silicon Valley, CA, Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Resilinc, a leader in supply chain risk and compliance intelligence, today announced a plugin for Microsoft Copilot that gives authorized enterprise users access to live, organization-specific Resilinc intelligence within the Microsoft applications where they work.
Users can now ask natural-language questions about supply chain disruptions, exposed suppliers, sites, parts and materials, tariffs, sanctions, forced labor and other compliance risks. Responses are grounded in Resilinc intelligence and scoped to the customer’s organization, licensing, permissions and authorized access.
The plugin extends Resilinc intelligence beyond its application interface, helping supply chain, procurement, compliance and operations teams understand which developments matter to their business and determine the appropriate next action without starting a separate analysis or workflow in another system.
“Supply chain teams need more than a general-purpose answer. They need intelligence connected to their suppliers, sites, parts and materials, along with a governed path from signal to action,” said Gopkiran Rao, Chief Marketing Officer at Resilinc. “Bringing Resilinc into Microsoft Copilot puts that context inside the tools customers already use. MCP provides the connection, while Resilinc provides the intelligence and operational context behind it.”
Intelligence that travels with the enterprise
The Copilot plugin is part of Resilinc’s broader enterprise interoperability strategy. Through Model Context Protocol, or MCP, authorized systems can access approved supply chain intelligence and capabilities through a standardized connection layer.
MCP makes the connection portable. Resilinc’s supply chain graph provides the domain intelligence behind it, including continuously updated and validated, multi-tier relationships among suppliers, sites, parts, products, and materials together with disruption and compliance context.
This enables organizations to go beyond retrieval of views of their supply chain. Users can understand whether an event or regulatory developments affect their organization, where exposure may exist and what requires further review or action.
The Copilot plugin is designed to operate within existing Resilinc security and governance controls. Authentication, tenant isolation, licensing and role-based permissions continue to apply, with requests scoped to the user’s organization and authorized access. This allows customers to extend Resilinc intelligence into Copilot without creating a separate access model for supply chain data and workflow.
Building on the Resilinc collaboration with Microsoft
This Copilot plugin builds on Resilinc’s collaboration with Microsoft across AI, manufacturing and supply chain resilience. The companies previously demonstrated a Copilot experience at Hannover Messe.
“Manufacturers need a clear view of supply chain risk to make informed decisions,” said Dayan Rodriguez, Corporate Vice President, Manufacturing and Mobility, Microsoft. “Integrating Resilinc’s risk and compliance intelligence with Microsoft Copilot can help teams identify exposure and act quickly, using the tools they already work in.”
Extending/Applying the collaboration to industry workflows
Resilinc is also bringing this work into specific industry settings. On September 30, 2026, the companies convened automotive supply chain leaders at Microsoft’s Detroit office for an executive workshop focused on multi-tier due diligence.
The workshop examined how automotive organizations can identify hidden supplier risk, respond to changing supplier status, and maintain a defensible record of due diligence. Participants included representatives from Microsoft, Resilinc, automotive manufacturers and suppliers, and the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG).
This new Copilot plugin also supports Resilinc’s broader compliance intelligence strategy. Resilinc recently announced Compliance for EUDR, extending the same supply chain foundation used for broader risk and forced-labor compliance to the European Union Deforestation Regulation. Across these use cases, Resilinc applies regulatory and policy specific intelligence to shared product, materials, supplier, site and supply-network context.
The Resilinc plugin for Copilot is available to eligible Resilinc customers. Customers should contact their Resilinc account team for enablement and applicable licensing requirements.
