High Cotton Comfort Co. Adds Restroom Trailer to Meet Last-Minute Event Demand

Charleston-based restroom trailer company adds rental capacity following a fully booked weekend, supporting event demand heading into 2027.

CHARLESTON, SC, UNITED STATES, November 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — High Cotton Comfort Co., a locally owned restroom trailer rental company in Charleston, South Carolina, purchased an additional three-stall luxury restroom trailer from Florida this fall. The purchase followed a last-minute event request for a weekend when the company’s existing equipment was already fully booked. The new unit adds room for short-notice events and overlapping reservations, and it supports the company’s push into long-term rentals as it prepares for 2027.

A Full Weekend Moves the Timeline

The company had already been planning to expand its capacity for longer-duration rentals. The goal was to dedicate a trailer to an extended project without taking equipment away from weekend event reservations.

The last-minute request accelerated that plan. With every available unit committed, High Cotton moved ahead with the purchase a few weeks before this announcement.

“We try to accommodate as many rental requests as we can, but when a weekend is already booked up, there’s only so much flexibility,” said Bear Huggins, owner of High Cotton Comfort Co. “Adding another trailer gives us more room to work with those last-minute requests while also opening the door for longer-term rentals. We’re expecting 2027 to be a busy year, and we want to be ready for it.”

The additional trailer does not guarantee availability for every request, particularly on popular weekends, but it gives the company more equipment to schedule around existing bookings.

The new trailer has already entered service. It was used for a private party at Seabreeze Marina in downtown Charleston.

Restroom access is easy to overlook when planning an outdoor event in the Lowcountry. Catering, tents, lighting, and seating tend to come first, yet oyster roasts, waterfront gatherings, fall weddings, and corporate functions are often held at properties with few or no permanent restrooms. High Cotton supplies luxury restroom trailers in Charleston SC and nearby communities for those settings.

The company’s three-stall restroom trailers are climate controlled and include flushing toilets, running water, vanity areas with mirrors, and interior and exterior lighting. Each stall is private, and High Cotton handles delivery, setup, and removal.

Expanding Long-Term Rental Capacity

Long-term rentals are an active priority for High Cotton heading into 2027. The latest purchase strengthens the company’s capacity to accommodate construction jobsites and other extended projects while maintaining availability for its event customers.

Access to sanitary restroom facilities is an important consideration for extended worksites. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration outlines employer responsibilities for providing accessible restroom facilities in the workplace. For projects that run several weeks or longer, a dedicated trailer can meet that need without pulling equipment from the weekend schedule.

With additional equipment now available, High Cotton is prepared to accept appropriate longer-duration requests alongside its established restroom trailer rentals for weddings, private gatherings, festivals, and corporate functions across the region.

For the company, the purchase is meant to serve both sides of the business. It leaves room for the short-notice event requests that prompted it and for the extended rentals Huggins expects to pursue as 2027 approaches.
